What's new with JJ

  June is almost here and summer is quickly approaching. The last day of school is June 12th. My favorite part about summer is swimming. I am looking forward to going up north to Charlevoix. We will start school again in August.

  Sometimes it's nice to imagine going on a trip. A trip is when I leave my house and go explore and stay in a different area than where I live. If I could go on a trip anywhere, I would go to Arizona. I would get there by taking a plane. It is always smart to plan ahead when going on a trip. I can use the internet to help plan for a trip. Something fun I would do while on a vacation would be going hiking and kayaking. Another way I could enjoy my trip would be going swimming. I could bring back a T-shirt as a gift for family or friends.

  I am going on a picnic with my friends at TRAILS. If I were planning a picnic, I would go to Starr Jaycee Park. A meal I would plan to eat at a picnic would be pizza and bread sticks. For drinks, I would bring water and juice. A good dessert could be ice cream. A fun game to play at a picnic would be a cornhole.

  Each year, we have an end of the year picnic at Raintree Park. I am looking forward to seeing my old friends, eating food and playing games. The weather for Friday is cloudy and chilly. My favorite foods to eat at the picnic are hot dogs, chips and popsicles.
