What's new with JJ

  My worksite for the 2024-2025 school year is Emagine Theater. I like my worksite. I have a job coach to help me at my worksite. I work with one other student from TRAILS. One of my jobs at my worksite is dusting posters. Another worksite job is sweeping the floors. Next year, I might like my worksite to be at Holiday Market when I'm done with school.

  Being an adult means being responsible. When I help with chores, my family is appreciative. Chores I help with around the house are folding clothes, loading the dishwasher, setting the table and putting away dishes. Chores I need more support learning how to do are cleaning the bathroom floor, toilet and sink.

  We are changing our plan for this Friday. Instead of going Downtown Royal Oak, we are going to Downtown Northville. Change is okay and I can be flexible. I am excited to explore Joseph's Coney Island. I am going to look for the Northville Eagles skeleton.

  A miniature version of golf is called putt putt. The two pieces of equipment we will need to play are a putter and a ball. There are 9/18 holes and we will keep score. I know how to be a good sport while playing and competing against my friends and staff.

The Detroit Tigers have a playoff game today at 2:30PM. They will play the Houston Astros. The game is being played at Minute Maid Park stadium. The next game in the series will be tomorrow at 2:30PM in Houston. 

  I like spending time with my family and friends. Quality time takes place when I give another person my full attention. One way I can spend quality time with someone is going to different places. Another way I can spend quality time with family or a friend is talking about their day. Staying on technology like a phone or iPad helps me spend quality time with family and friends. Spending quality time with friends and family is important.
